Viyada Thai Spa has a rich and inspiring history deeply rooted in the traditions of Thai culture and the vision of its founder, Krit Panichpisal, LMT, known as Chris. In 2013, Chris recognized a unique opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts, to introduce authentic Thai massage and spa services in an area where such offerings were notably absent. Driven by his passion for sharing traditional Thai treatments and culture, Chris established Viyada Thai Spa, filling a gap in the wellness market.
The name “Viyada,” derived from an ancient Thai literary character meaning ‘aroma from floral paradise,’ encapsulates the essence of the experience Chris envisioned—an urban sanctuary where guests can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the serenity and healing traditions of Thailand.
